Peru has a rich, and widely diverse dance culture — from the Andes to Lima to the beaches of Paracas, dance is everywhere, and we are going to be immersed in it!
Dance Alchemy Returns! We’re visiting the ‘best of the best’ from our 2018 documentary film trip, revisiting all the wonderful personal connections we made, allowing us to create a truly unique trip! This time, we are dividing the trip in two, allowing you to choose Trip 1 – Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley, Trip 2 – Paracas, El Carmen, and the Pacific, or BOTH!
Destinations: Lima, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, and Paracas
Highlights include traveling to the Andes Mountains, meditating with healers, learning indigenous dances in the Sacred Valley, climbing to Machu Picchu, and also doing service by bringing much needed supplies to children in Ollantaytambo. In Paracas, we will learn Afro-Peruvian dance from the local community, and relax by the beautiful beaches.
This is not your typical tourist trip! We will be directly participating in dance and getting right into the local culture — all the while traveling in our own coach, staying in 5-star hotels, and eating wonderful traditional Peruvian food. You will return with memories to last a lifetime!
